Measuring a typical hinged door for the net screen opening dimensions: determine the "NET SCREEN OPENING DIMENSION" (width x height) as measured from where the outside most edges of the retractable screen will rest. Screens are then made to fit these exact dimensions. SEE MEASURING GUIDE ABOVE.

When ordering or installing the Milano Series (Smooth Fabric Screens), it is very important to know if the threshold is flat or sloped. If you have a sloped threshold, you may need to order the optional Sloped Sill Wedge Shims (3 sizes are available) to level and support the Bottom Guide. The optional Threshold Transitions with End Caps (2 styles and finishes are available) are also useful in many applications (see more info on this page). These help to conceal and protect the bottom guide and make for a very professional looking installation. Please review the Milano install instructions here.
